Overview

1-Preparation:

Start your journey from Muscat, the capital city of Oman. Wadi Shab is approximately a 90-minute drive from Muscat.

3-Arrival:
Once you arrive at the parking area near Wadi Shab, you’ll need to hike a short distance to reach the entrance of the canyon.

4-Hiking into the Canyon:
The hike into Wadi Shab is relatively easy at first, following a well-marked trail along the edge of the wadi. As you progress, you’ll encounter some rocky terrain and may need to cross shallow streams. Take your time and watch your step.
Enjoy the stunning views of the canyon walls and surrounding landscape as you make your way deeper into the wadi.

5- Swimming and Exploration:
After hiking for a while, you’ll reach the main attraction of Wadi Shab: the emerald pools and waterfalls. Prepare to get wet as you swim through the pools and wade through the water-filled passages. Explore the hidden caves and waterfalls tucked away within the canyon. Don’t forget to bring a waterproof camera to capture the beauty of the scenery.
